A/N: Double chapter release. Surprise!
Also sorry about not being consistent with writing but at times I'm just not motivated and it takes me a while to get back into it. Especially since I plan for this story to be a long one.
Though I can promise while the chapter updates won't be consistent I won't delete this fic from my webnovel page like I have others.
So without further ado enjoy today's second chapter.

(3rd Person: POV)
Slowly but surely Bruce opened his eyes.
The memories of events shortly before he once again turned into the Hulk becoming back to him.
When they finished the calm expression on Bruce's face vanished, replaced by one of worry and fear. "Betty!" He exclaimed. Immediately sitting up right in the bed he was in.
"Huh?"
Which Bruce immediately questioned.
Since he had never found himself in a bed after turning into the Hulk before. Instead he usually found himself in the middle of nowhere, all of his clothes gone except for his pants, which were usually ripped beyond all repair.
Save only for that one time near Las Vegas, but that is a memory he promised to himself never really to touch again.
Though right now that's besides the point.
'The question is why am I in a bed right now? And fully clothed at that?' Bruce thought.
Since after noticing the bed he was lying on he also noticed he was wearing clothes that fit his body and weren't ripped to shreds.
"Ah, I'm dreaming. That's the only explaination." Bruce said to himself.
"No, Dr. Banner you are not dreaming I assure you. Also, glad to see you're finally awake." A voice suddenly spoke to Bruce.
When it did he immediately turned his head in its direction and found himself utterly shocked when he identified the owner of the voice as none other than the famous Victor Von Doom.
Who was sitting at the only table in the room, what Bruce now realized looked like a luxury hotel room, eating from a plate of food.
Since said table was filled with a hearty breakfast.
"You're Victor Von Doom." Bruce spoke.
"Yes, I am." Victor replied. In between bites of his food.
"And you're eating breakfast?" Bruce question.
"I am." Victor easily replied. "It's the most important meal of the day after all. On that note, please join me before it gets cold. I'm sure you must be hungry given what you just went through as your other self."
"You know about that huh?" Bruce questioned, narrowing his eyes at Victor.
"I know a great many things Dr. Banner. More than you could probably ever dream. And that bit of information I just shared is but a tiny sliver of my knowledge." Victor replied.
Looking Bruce directly into his eyes. "For instance, I can help you achieve peace and unity with the Hulk."
Bruce snorted. "Yeah right." He replied. "And how exactly are you going to do that? Mhm? Some new technology? Tai-Chi? Breathing exercises? Well if that's the case then don't bother. Since I've tried it all and nothing has worked."
"Oh nothing so mundane as those things Dr. Banner. No, I'm going to help you with magic." Victor spoke.
Only for Bruce to look at him like he was crazy.
"Magic? Are you serious? I thought you were a scientist?" Bruce asked.
"To answer your questions in order yes and I am." Victor replied. "Also magic is real Dr. Banner."
"Alright enough of this." Bruce spoke. Getting to his feet. "Listen, I don't know what this is or who might've put you up to it but enough is enough. I'm dangerous, your a king, and if you don't do anything then someone mi-"
Before Bruce could finish speaking Victor turned away from his plate, got up to his feet, closed the distance between them, and then slammed his left palm into Bruce's chest. Separating his soul and body.
Once this happened Bruce was nothing but a spectral floating form.
Upon realizing this he began racing his hands all over himself. "No, this is impossible. This is impossible. This can't be real." He began muttering.
"Oh Dr. Banner, I would've thought given your own experiences you would've realized that sometimes the impossible can be true." Victor spoke.
His words gaining back Bruce's attention on him.
"But that was science and this is-"
"-Magic is simply a science many fail to ever understand and grasp because they limit their minds and hardly ever allow in new possibilities." Victor interrupted. "But enough about other people. Let's talk about you Dr. Banner. And what Latveria can do for you."
Victor then snapped his fingers.
After he did panels in the front of the room slightly opened to reveal none other than the skyline of Doomsdadt. The capital of Latveria.
Whom Victor made sure to send Bruce too after the battle in Harlem a week ago.
Where he had made sure he had stayed unconscious until everything with Ross had been sorted out.
Which it has.
The old general was now imprisoned, awaiting trial.
Exactly as Doom had planned.
Boy, it felt good to be himself.
"I see. So that's where I am." Bruce spoke. As he tried and failed to get back into his body.
"Yes. Also stop trying to return to your body. Since unless I, or another of the other skilled magic users, undoes what I just did you'll be stuck like that." Victor explained.
Hearing this Bruce stopped trying to get back into his body. He then focused his attention back onto Victor. "I see. Now you have my undivided attention. So, what do you want from me?"
"As I said nothing. I simply want to help a man who was hunted like an animal, and lost everything he worked for, simply because he would not bend to the will of a modern day rogue general. Who I might add has been arrested, lost his rank, and his awaiting court martial as as speak."
"Really, he is?" Bruce asked. Victor nodded. "That was fast. But if that is the case then let me ask, how long was I out for?"
"A week." Victor replied.
"An entire week!" Bruce exclaimed.
"Yes." Victor calmly replied. Watching as Bruce tried to get back into his body.
Seeing this Victor couldn't help but sigh.
He then undid the spell and has Bruce' soul return to his body.
After which he immediately started firing off questions at Victor.
"Is Betty okay? What happened to the people? What happened to Sterns? What-"
"-That's enough Bruce." Victor interrupted. "For if you keep talking like that I won't be able to answer your questions."
"Right." Bruce replied. "Sorry it's just..."
"It's fine. No need to explain." Victor spoke. "So to begin with Betty is fine. Well as fine as she can be under the protection of the US government." He mused.
And him being a former U.S. citizen in his previous life he knows what he's talking about.
"She's been looked after and no harm as come to her. In fact she's one of the biggest reasons her father is currently looking to spend his golden years making sure he doesn't drop the soap in Leavenworth. For she testified against him."
"She did." Bruce mused. "I... can't believe it."
"I know. You know it's truly a sad day when a parent makes their child hate them that much that they're willing to send them to prison." Victor mused. Wiping a fake tear away from his eye. "Anyway, in regards to the people of Harlem no one was injured in the slightest. I, my wife, my brother-in-law, and our friend Ben made sure of it. Lastly in regards to Sterns, he's here in Latveria like you. Along with Blonsky."
"What?" Bruce questioned. "Blonsky is here?"
"He is." Victor replied. "But there's no need to worry. Here, let me show you." He spoke.
Victor then snapped his fingers.
A second after he did a holographic screen appeared in the middle of the room. "Now Bruce, observe the screen." He spoke.
When Victor did Bruce turned to look at it. Finding himself staring at Blonsky, dressed in comfortable clothing, talking to a therapist?
"Is Blonsky in therapy right now?" Bruce asked.
"Yes, he is." Victor replied.
"You see the Super-Soldier serum you created that the former general Ross had him use created a chemical imbalance throughout his entire body. Throwing off his decision making to even his emotional control. My scientist have confirmed it. Then he added your blood into the mix and that sent him over the edge. But after my peope and I defeated him, secured him, and brought him here we begun the process of working with him to help him get back to normal. Well as normal as he can be now now that he can turn into a giant gamma creature." Victor explained.
"Wait, so the changes made to Blonsky physiology were permanent? Not only that he can freely switch back and forth between his two forms and retain total mental cog-"
*Snap!*
Before Bruce could continue Victor snapped his fingers in front of his face. "Doctor Banner. While I wouldn't mind discussing the science in regards to your and Mr. Blonsky gamma transformations let's stay on task and save it for a later date." Victor spoke.
"Yes, of course." Bruce replied. "So, is Blonsky your prisoner? And for that matter am I?"
"No on both accounts." Victor replied. "Yes currently my people and I are keeping Blonsky on lockdown. But that's only until we're absolutely sure he isn't a danger to himself and others. As for you if you wish to leave Latveria you can anytime. But if you do you'll no longer have our protection. Which means your life will go back to the way it used to be. Which was none at all. Since even though Ross is no longer an issue for you I'm sure you understand being as smart a man as you are Bruce that the people in power will never leave you alone. Unless you have assistance."
"You mean from you?" Bruce questioned.
"Yes." Victor replied. "After all I want all of you both the man and the other guy as a friend."
"Heh, you know you make a really good pitch Doom, but one thing I've learned is that there's generally a catch to deals like this." Bruce said. Putting a serious expression on his face.
In response Victor did the same.
"I assure you there's not in this case." Victor replied. "But I understand it'll take some time for you to believe me. So until then I'll take my leave." He spoke. "Oh and this room is yours for long as you choose to stay in Latveria. And should you need anything just ask for me or one of my aides and it'll be brought to you. Well then Dr. Banner have a good rest of your day." He spoke.
Victor then snapped his fingers and opened up a portal. Which he then stepped through and shut.
Leaving Bruce once again astounded.
As well as with a lot of think about.

Which tomorrow, after years of planning and preparation she, Attuma, and their voices would invade.
