Bab 442: Chapter 442: Words within Words

Suizi walked into the kitchen where several dishes had already been prepared on the table, all of them being main courses.

Wang Cuihua was just putting the finishing touches on a dish of stewed eggplant and fish when she saw Suizi coming in with more fish. She hurried to wave her over.

"Keep it in the water tank for a couple of days. We've already cooked too much today, we'll need to take care of the leftovers tomorrow."

From her mother-in-law's cheery tone, Suizi deduced that she's having a good day.

"Mother, did something good happen?" Suizi asked.

"Nothing special, just our everyday little things."

As much as Wang Cuihua tried to play down the matter, the sparkle in her eyes betrayed her unequivocal excitement.

Intrigued, Suizi washed her hands and took over her mother-in-law's dish.

"So, what little thing made you so happy?"

"I went shopping with your father today, wanted to buy some fabric for our kids."
