Bab 526: A talk with Yao Jing [1]

Zhao Tian returned to the Alchemy Chamber and retrieved the rare herbs he has ordered.

Each herb was wrapped delicately in silk cloth, some emitting a faint glow, others exuding potent and exotic aromas

As he entered the elevator, he went up to Yao Jing's room and pushed open the door, he saw Yao Jing lying on the floor reading a book in her hand.

Seeing him, her face brightened with smile "Ahhhh, Tian.. come here. Come to Master."

Zhao Tian couldn't help but chuckle seeing her excitement and went to her, sitting beside her on the floor.

His gaze swept around the room, looking at the odd assortment of scrolls, vials, and herbs scattered in various corners. "Why are you lying on the floor? This is your private room… you could at least put a bed in here," 

Yao Jing rolled on the floor and mumbled "Well, the coolness on the floor is weirdly comfortable... I kind of like it."
