Bab 8: Result Of The Confession
"What!.... What did you just say?", Ezra asked with a surprised look.
"I like you, Ezra Anderson. And it's not sudden I have liked you since the magic show two years ago. Even though now I know that you helped me that day deliberately but whatever intention you might had that day still you helped me that's a big thing for me. I can never forget that. You are the first person to lend a hand to me", I finally let out whatever I had always wanted to say to Ezra.
I looked at him to see his reaction. He had a cocky smile on his face. He then got up from his chair and slowly started moving towards me. My legs started moving backward on their own but he didn't stop. He kept moving forward and I had no choice but to move back. Soon I was pinned against the wall by him. His body was so close to my mine that I could feel his warmth. He brought his face close. I could feel his hot breath on my face. My heart started beating loudly. When his lips were going to touch my lips I moved my face sideways and pushed him a little.
"What are you doing, Ezra? This is not right." The love consultant said on the earpods to move out of the cabin if he's misbehaving. "Why it's not right... you like me so what's wrong in kissing me? Don't you want the same?", Ezra sneered at me.
"No, I don't want this I just wanted to tell you about my feelings. You don't have to behave so rudely."
"You were the one who came here on your own and then telling me that you like me... weren't you trying to seduce me? Girls like you use these underhand methods to get a high position in companies. I still remember Mr. Jones referred to you as a contract employee so by doing this you think you can become a permanent employee here. Aren't you thinking too much about yourself?"
Ezra looked at me as though he was disgusted by me. I have never thought that my simple confession will make him think like this. Listening to his harsh words tears started brimming in my eyes.
The love consultant repeatedly kept telling me through earpods not to cry in front of Ezra. He also said to come out of his cabin. I tried my best not to let my tears fall in front of him. I can't lose anymore self-respect.
"Ezra I know you don't like me but you don't have to treat me this way."
"I can treat you however I want! Judging from your face you look like a nice girl but who would think that you have such malicious thoughts inside your head. I don't want to be associated with girls like you. I will see to it that you don't pass your contract period here. Just get out of my sight!!", he shouted angrily.
I ran out of his cabin not knowing where to go... I couldn't stop the tears now. I was running fast so that nobody could see my tears. Then I heard the love consultant's voice through earpods to come down to the parking. Instead of lift, I took stairs because I didn't want to encounter anyone right now. As soon as I reached the parking area I saw the love consultant standing there. without any second thoughts, I ran to him and threw myself into his arms. I started to cry profusely and he just stood there telling me to let it all out.
