Bab 116: The Marching Band Arrives

Blood trickled down his left arm. He had become somewhat reckless, it seems. Dubhán wiped it off with the sleeve of his other arm. Qian stood opposite him, bearing his fists. Despite not wielding any weapon, the boy was good at dealing with armed opponents. Moreover, the Fae noticed faint Feline patterns on his skin, indicating he was not just a well-built human. 

Qian grinned, then straightened himself to wipe his nose. 

"That all ya got, banshee? I told you you shouldn't hold back!" 

Under the eyes of cheering spectators, the Alpha slammed both fists on the ground. 

Dubhán clicked his tongue. As a fellow Alpha, the Fae was not too keen on unleashing his full toolkit on the boy.
