Bab 229: The Scum of New Vista

Sophia was over her head doing Rachel's job and it made for some early nights as she passed out from exhaustion, but, luckily, her and Luca were in a place of understanding. Neither one of them felt neglected and they continued on with their work as usual. 

As Luca spent time in his office, seemingly obsessing over his work, someone might think he was having a hard quarter with the company. The truth was much more grim. 

Since Serena suggested he get deeper in his father's drug business, his office was the only place he knew his father wouldn't know what he was doing. It was the only place he knew was completely secure.

However, he couldn't hide in his office for much longer. 

It was time to get his hands dirty.
