Bab 165: Remaining Close

An alpha's ultimate goal was to pass along their genetics no matter what it took. Instincts to conquer and possess only further underlined this fact. 

As Luca looked at his entire life, he thought that he would be above those feelings. He thought that all he had done to resist his instincts would mean he would be fine without experiencing a traditional life where he found someone to settle down and have children with. 

Yet each time he went home from work and Sophia was there waiting for him, it stirred up his feelings. He felt a sense of completeness as if that was the life that was always meant for him. 

Yet each time Sophia expressed her unhappiness with the situation, he knew he had to push those feelings to the side and allow her to do what she wanted to find fulfillment.
