Bab 111: Promising a Lifetime

Luca's expression became grim as he looked down at Sophia. 

He was in complete disbelief that someone so close to him had been terrorizing her for so long. If he knew the sort of things Angelo was doing when he wasn't at work, he would have already had him investigated and fired. 

Even though attacking an omega was the alpha way, according to Luca's father, he didn't like having to clean up messes. If he found out Angelo was creating such a mess amongst the betas he would have likely at least taken some sort of action to correct his behavior. 

However, as Luca tried to keep in the rage that was eating away at him even without his pheromones, Sophia took it as something else. 

She had been so brave to tell him what had happened to her, but his silence felt like disbelief.
