Bab 39: CHAPTER 39

　　Janeka and Earnestine could see them as they scurried into the woods.

　　“Here they come.” Nevada said as she fell to her knees. Janeka and Earnestine helped her up when they got closer. They continued the chant and it made Marius weaker. He groaned and yelled and his powers took control again. Instead of destroying them, he started absorbing their magic. Earnestine fell to her knees. Janeka held on with Nevada.

　　“Come on. You're better than this.” She told Earnestine who weakly stood back on his feet, and held unto Nevada. Marius chuckled with his arms wide open. They began a chant, and let Marius have all their powers when they finished.

　　“I will rule the world. I created the crow, and I know it would come to serve me when I didn't keep my side of the bargain.”

　　“What bargain?” Nevada asked.

　　“You. I promised it you'd be his queen, and he took revenge by killing our people. It doesn't want to serve me anymore. It wants to destroy me.”
