Bab 88: Tell Me Now!

Drake was back in his room, Aurora was inside the bathroom during his arrival.

He began pacing back and forth on the floor, feeling troubled about Aurora's reaction to his bad news.

He can already feel her protest even before he can open his mouth to inform her about her role in the family ritual. He knows his mother well, once she thinks of something... she won't stop until she gets it implemented the way she wanted it to be.

He took a deep breath and waited for Aurora to come out of the bathroom.

A few minutes later, Aurora exited the bathroom and saw Drake standing in the middle of the room, sporting a troubled expression on his face.

She went to his side. "What's wrong?" she asked. Drake and Henrietta were having a conversation in the study room earlier, she was wondering what they were talking about? Maybe they're talking about her. What else?

Drake holds Aurora's hand and brings her to the bed.
