Bab 42: Quickie!

The following day.

Once again, Irene woke up alone in the bed.

She looked at the pillow next to her and hugged it tightly, burying her face into its fluffiness. "I miss you, Brent!" she said gloomily.

She released a deep sigh. He didn't come again last night, she had fallen asleep waiting for him to arrive.

But he didn't come!

Pouting, she left the bed and entered the bathroom to start her day.

After she finished her morning routine in the bathroom, she left the basement and went to the kitchen to prepare her breakfast.

A few minutes later.

While cooking the scrambled egg that she added with lots of onions and tomatoes in the frying fan, she can't help but glance at the wilted flowers on the vase, she can't bring herself to throw them away when there is no replacement yet.

She was waiting for Brent to bring her flowers today!

That's her wish!

Sighing, she continued flipping the eggs with the ladle.

A few minutes late.
