Irene opened the door wide. "Come inside, Mother."

Margaret entered the room and lowered herself onto the chair.

"Is there anything I can do for you, Mother?" asked Irene.

Margaret breathed deeply. "Um, I came here to talk to you..."

"About what, Mother?" Irene asked curiously.

"Regarding Aurora, we should bring her to an OB to check the condition of your baby," Margaret suggested casually.

Irene fell silent for a moment, then she released a deep sigh. "I should have been the one who will see the OB, not that impostor! I should be the one enjoying my pregnancy! That impostor stole the joy of motherhood from me! I hated her so much!" she said angrily as pain tore through her heart.
