"Ughhh" I groaned as I laid my head on the kitchen counter, and Maria sighed. She had invited me out tonight to get my mind off of things, but after that first shot of pre club vodka, all the feelings just seemed to came rushing back, and I felt like crying again.

"Even though, I'd hate to say I told you so, I indeed did in fact told you so."

"Okay, mom, you win. So what do I do now? I feel awful." I said, and she looked at me with pity.

"Well, you can do what he asked you to. Give him some space." she shrugged, and that was the last thing that I wanted to hear right now.

"I know, but I want to talk to him. I want to apologize. It has already been a week. I miss him."

"Then go, and apologize." she said, and I looked at her confused, for didn't she just say to give him space?"

"Wait, wait, wait. Why do you mean by that? Didn't you just say that I should just leave him alone?"
