Either this place is an extension of the one before it, meaning the croaks reached this area and the players in it. Or they just wanted to confuse us players for the viewers to see our reaction.

One thing that people who watch Hopeful Homicide, which almost everyone, loves seeing is the reactions of the players when they encountered something scary, confusing, and mind-boggling. And the people behind these death games never failed to make their viewers on the edge of their seats.
