In the orphanage living room, Al was seen writing a music sheet on the paper, while tapping and humming the music he wrote.
It has been few weeks passed since they were having their vacation in Paris, the girls were undoubtedly the ones who were the happiest of all.
Except for one person, that is our male-lead, Alphonse Brandt. And it brought all of us here, in the living room where everyone gathered and kept looking at him with a grin.
"Come on guys! It was just children's puppy love! Stop pestering me Every Single Day." Al was getting annoyed with their grin.
They finally managed to know what Eva meant after her parents translated it into English, Al was too embarrassed to translate it for them.
"But I saw you were so happy after receiving it. I don't mean to pry Al but, 10 years difference is not a problem at all. But wait for her turned 18, it was illegal to date before that." Mary said.
Usually, Al was the one who made older girls threatened by FBI calls, currently, was his turn.
"Hahaha funny... How about I date you instead, let's see how fast the FBI respond." Al said with a sarcastic laugh.
He then continues, "Besides, this is my birthday gift guys, of course, I'm happy. I have never given this kind of present before. Did you look at how happy she was when I told her that my birthday is near and I treat this as my birthday present?"
Drew then said, "I gave you my French chocolate and cheese on your birthday!"
He turned to Drew and hugged her. He pinched her chubby cheek and said, "Of course Drewie, you are my second best little sister I have."
"Second? I don't accept it, who's the first?" She pushed away Al's hand on her cheeks.
Al then pointed his finger in Alice's direction, "Duh, Alice of course, nobody could change that."
"That's out of context, Alice is everyone greatest little sister, so I'm still your best little sister." She argued.
Alice who had her head on Mrs. K's lap was smiling brightly, but Laura, Melissa, and Annie gave the stink eye to Al.
Al received their glare was quickly said something to entertain their cute little hearts, "Of course you are all wonderful sisters I ever got, ehm who wants ice creams?"
They were bought by it, nobody could defeat ice cream's might.
Everyone left except for Al and Drew.
"Nice save," Drew whispered to him.
"Of course Drew, of course." He smirked, he tried to pinch her cheek again but his hand stopped by hers.
"Al, I am 10 years old now, you gotta stop pinching my cheeks." She said with a sullen face.
"And missing how squishy and soft your cheek is? No way, I ain't gonna miss that." He suddenly pounced at her.
Drew tried to fight back but unable to beat Al's big and stronk body. Drew finally gave up, and let herself picked up by Al and spinning her around.
"Around the world!!" They laughed together and after Al tired lifting up her body, they both fell into the sofa.
The living room fell into silence after the noise they have made, then Al suddenly asked Drew, "How about you and Jaid, Drew?"
Drew reminisced her moments with her after living in the orphanage and said, "She was... okay, she said she was getting better on the parenting course and the instructors praised her. I've seen her... changed somehow Al, I'm not sure if I should be with her again or not."
He patted her hair and said, "I know, just take your time Gertie, baby steps remember? Besides, I am always here for you even if you decided to stay with her."
She smiled after being assured and called by her name when she played <E.T.>
"Oh I need to finish this first, The Live Aid organizer needs me" He went back to his sofa.
Then Al continued his job for writing this music sheet, the Live Aid concert will be held in less than a month, he needs to finish the music first and send it to the organizer to let the band that would help him perform practice it.
June was not the best month for Al, even though this was his special month.
On 31st May, suddenly America hit by 5 tornadoes. The collateral damage was severe and 76 died, people got a light to severe injuries were uncountable. The financial damage almost reached billions of dollars.
So Al decided not to celebrate his birthday because it would be bad if some paparazzi took a picture of him when America was in mourning.
For Al, his popularity rose again because he came back with the youngest director who participated in Cannes. But of course, his popularity not only brought him a good reputation but also a bad one.
When he came back from France, he was assaulted by paparazzi and reporters in the airport.
The airport suddenly crowded with reporters, and some passengers were reported missing their flight and filed complaints to the airport's management about celebrities and reporters/paparazzi who crowding the airport.
Even the Hollywood Reporter Tabloid joined the fray by making him look bad with their headlines: 'Alphonse at Airport, Hundreds Passenger Missed Their Flights'
So Al's popularity was on the way down to infamy because the media started to publish bad news about him, not every media of course; only the supermarket tabloid.
It seemed the Hollywood Stars Tabloid whom Al and Children and Parents Association sued before was beginning to do some counter-attack to him by rallying other Supermarket Tabloids with them.
There were many bad news for him, from the film that invited controversies for religious people to his media chase that led to a disturbance to the public interest.
Of course, Al could ignore them but Al didn't trust how the public would receive this news, some may ignore it but there must be someone who believed it completely.
The only way to counteract it was by doing publicity that painted him in a good way.
He would need Ari's public relations team to help him, especially this time when disaster struck America.
What was the best way for celebrities to regain their fame as a good person? Charities, lots of it.
The famous Hollywood celebs were loaded with money. If the public saw them didn't donate money at times like this they would treat these celebs as stingy and mean people.
Although Al was reluctant to do this publicity, as a celebrity, he must do that. His reputation depended on this, he had made a good impression of him for everyone, if some Supermarket Tabloid ruined it; he could just dig a hole and buried himself.
And it did, it worked; just when Al came into the disaster area and gave donations of $10 million, the public's negative view about him disappeared.
Especially when he paid a sum of money to a few local newspapers to publicize his goodwill.
Welcome to the world of fakeness and deception of the Hollywood and media, thought of him.
Be careful everyone when celebs act nice and care about everyone, it could be they have an upcoming movie they starred and it could be meant for promotion.
June passed with him doing some charities in the disaster relief area and took care of his film he directed that was finally released in North America.
At first, the film received a strong protest, but this film was well received by each of his fans and everyone.
Turned out his film was not as bad as the haters said in the reviews. It was only Sci-fi and no need to take it seriously, especially the religious issues.
The reporters who wanted to interview the audience of Al's film got a chance to interview a Christian follower who got caught watching Al's film.
"Oh, you mean when he said he was Jesus? Nope, I'm not mad, it was just a Sci-fi film; The film itself was really good though." He said, in Los Angeles Times film column.
<The Man from Earth> screened with only 300 screens, and received $6 million on the first week.
This was the lowest box office Al ever got, but fortunately, his film has become a classic among Sci-fi enthusiasts and cult-film lovers, and his profit for this film would rose sharply in-home video era.
Regular people were expecting that when they went to the cinema, they want to watch a boom goes bang with prikitiew slash blood swish swish boom. So it wasn't weird if the box office weren't so good this time.
So the June passed quickly without something significant happened in his life.
On 3rd July 1985, was finally the day of the film premiere <Back to the Future> where he starred.
It was Wednesday and the premiere was held in TCL Chinese Theatre.
Mrs. K still rejected his offer to become his partner, the same as Mary. So he just asked Drew to become his partner again, he also became her partner when she was having her film premiere of <Return to Oz> on 21st June.
The box office of the film was quite good, better than in his previous life, about $11 million first week due to constant Al's promotion of her film. He always recommended her film every time he was being interviewed.
The film itself was well-received, critics even said that it was a breakthrough of Drew's acting career, from an adorable little girl into an adventurous and intelligent girl, although some families complaint about the film too dark.
After they were walking through the red carpet and being interviewed, they finally made it reached the theatre. Drew parted with him to find their Godfather while Al still talking to people who tried to say hi to him.
Then suddenly, he found an unfamiliar face that came to approach him,
She came to him and kissed both of his cheeks as greetings, then Al said; "Ms. Ciccone, it's nice to meet you, but it was rare to see you in the movie premiere. Oh and congratulations on your marriage to Sean Penn."
"Thank you, Mr. Brandt, it's nice to meet you too. I'm curious about you, the youngest performer at the Live Aid concert. When they announced you are also joining, all of the musicians were confused about you. So, I came here to check you out. Not so young as they said. Call me Madonna please."
"Then call me Al, Ms. Madonna. Really, I'm still 15, and I'm so nervous you know. It's my first time that I perform in any concert."
"Well, boy, I had an idea, I saw your perform time was before me, how about we collaborate?"
Al didn't know what to say, it was all too sudden. "I might think about it Ms. Madonna, how about we meet up someday to talk about our collaboration, I have a premiere to attend first."
She smiled and said, "Of course Al, I will tell my agent to contact yours see you."
Madonna left, and Al tried to search Robert and Steven.
He finally found them but they told Al, very shocking news.
Princess Diana came to their premiere again who previously said unable to attend and she wanted to sit beside the lead role of this film, which meant that it was Al.
