She checked the time once more, slightly past 10:30.

Could they be in a meeting?

Usually, at this time on Mondays, many people were either in meetings or on their way to one.

She wasn't in a hurry, so she casually found a seat in the lobby waiting area on the first floor and sat down to wait patiently.

The surrounding area was also filled with people waiting, each of them giving her strange looks.

She glanced at her attire; clad in a school uniform, carrying a small black backpack, and wearing a black duckbill cap – an unmistakable student look, glaringly different from the suited and booted people around her.

She didn't mind, though, and just picked up a magazine from the table to pass the time.
