''It's lovely to see you after a long time, Countess Olivier.''

''The same as well, Viscountess.''

''Thank you for the invitation, Madam clayton.''

''Thank you for also showing up, marchioness''

Standing underneath the iron arched entrance with pink roses dancing in the gentle breeze, Countess Olivier and Madam Clayton, welcomed many middle-aged and young madams, and young ladies as well into their planned picnic that took place in the garden.

''Aunt, it seems she's not coming.'' After flashing her practiced smile to a passing madam, Madam Clayton said to Countess Olivier in a lowered voice.

''Hmm…I thought she would come.'' Disappointment flashed in the countess's peach eyes. Just as she had done to that hateful woman, she wanted to do the same to her child. She wanted that child to know who was more superior in society.
