That was the atmosphere between Damien and the crown prince. Damien did not know how to talk to the crown prince. It was his first time to initiate a conversation with someone. Even in the village, it was people who came to him, not him going to other people.

It was also the same for the crown prince. Other children from the nobles would always want to talk to him. This was his first time meeting someone who did not want to talk to him.

''Hmm…I guess we were hasty, Lady Elrod. The children are so awkward around each other and this is not good.''

''Your imperial majesty?'' Isla could see the empress wanted to do something, but wasn't it better if she left the children to solve this awkwardness on their own?

''Lady Elrod should be prepared to come to the imperial palace very soon. Adam is about to choose his playmates, so many children will be invited. I hope we will see each other by then?''
