Bab 205: Kaiser and the Duke (2)

Silence.

The three people in the hallway stared wide-eyed at the silver-haired child that stood in the middle of the doorway. His ruby eyes first landed on the stunned Isla, then moved to Kaiser who was also the same, and lastly on Dante, the first person to snap out of the shock.

''So–'' Dante was about to stretch his hand towards Damien.

  But….

''Damien!'' Isla was faster than him. She ignored the pain on her arm and went on her knees, not caring about her blue dress. She then stared worriedly at Damien with her fingers around his shoulders.

''Why did you come outside?'' She questioned him. Isla thought he would have been asleep by now.

''I heard mother screaming uncle's name and I was worried that something happened again.'' As Damien was talking, he looked at the other man apart from his uncle Kaiser, only for him to meet the same eyes as his own.
