''Damien Liev Patel, what have I told you about talking to strangers?'' With folded arms, Isla frowned upon her son, especially the necklace that he presented to her. Her son, who usually heeds her warning, disobeyed her for the first time. No matter how she looked at the situation, something must have went on between the mysterious noble and her son.

For his mother to call his full name meant she was truly angry at his actions.

''M-Mother said that I should not talk to anyone stranger in the village.'' Replying in a soft voice, Damien kept his head low with the necklace dangling by his side.

''Yes, I told you that, son. But you didn't listen and I am clearly disappointed in you.'' Even if she wasn't comfortable disciplining Damien, she had to do so, for him to know what is right and what is wrong.
