Valerie stood up, the letter from the Vitale family was in his hand.

"So do you know what they replied?" Paolo asked.

"as you can see the letter is still sealed so no I have no means of knowing the contents of the letter" Valerie replied.

"Just read the letter Valerie, whatever response they give, we will know what to do afterwards" Antonio said.

Valerie opened the letter, cleared his throat and began to read.

'LETTER OF ACCEPTANCE

We, the Vitale family accept your peace treaty and your surrender. We will no longer go to war with you or punish you for the offense of your predecessors. If however, you breach any of the terms in the peace treaty, e will also renege on our own terms.
