"Because I hurt you," he lowered his gaze and stared forward. "I don't blame you for your insecurities about our relationship. I was never the guy for you, really Liliana. I'm a beast and someone you'll regret ever loving because I don't deserve you. Your innocence, your beauty, your love, your kindness, every affection you show towards me, I really don't deserve them at all." He wiped the tears that had dried on his face.

Liliana only stared at him as he blurted out, she was short of words and then she thought to herself, there must be a reason why he had such thoughts on his mind.
