Bab 120: You’re something else, Eira [mass release-chapter 6]

Eiravyne was too overwhelmed to speak. She just nodded, her cheeks flushed, her lips tingling from the intensity of the kiss. 

Ilkar cupped her cheeks but then he slid one of his thumbs to the corners of her lips and brushed it gently.

 Then, daringly, he parted her lips slightly, just enough to place his thumb between her teeth. 

"The next time I kiss you," he whispered, his voice low and filled with promise, "I won't hesitate to go to the full extent."

His implication was clear—he was referring to using his tongue. 

But Eiravyne, clueless about the intricacies of kissing, had no idea what he meant. She simply looked at him with wide eyes, her breaths stolen and her mind whirling with confusion and desire.

Ilkar chuckled softly at her innocent expression, his thumb still resting between her lips. 

"You're something else, Eira," he murmured, his voice filled with a mix of affection and frustration.
