I chuckled to myself thinking about all the jokes I had come up with in the past minutes when the snapping of a twig behind me had my body frozen cold. Diego, Joao and Rico all stood frozen as their ears twitched. Booger and Bugatti were busy sniffing each other's butts therefore there was not much hope there. 

I let go of the three Dobermans leash because if there was a threat, I knew they would attack. Meanwhile Bugatti and Booger's were still tightly in my grasp. They were the type to get themselves killed. 

With quick reflexes I turned to find nothing behind me. For a second I deflated thinking it had probably been a squirrel or something. Wait, did Germany have squirrels? Now that I thought about it I had never seen one but I could have sworn I saw something. I would have to ask Benedito when I got home.
