Bab 378: THE QUEEN'S VERDICT

Everywhere went deadly silent at my intrusion. I stared at the throne room with a slight frown on my face. There were more people in here than I thought! I stepped forward with a lot of eyes following every step I took. Ivan watched me a look of helplessness crossing his features for a brief moment before his expression became stoic.

"What is going on?" I asked him when I climbed the stairs to sit on the throne beside Ivan, who had his hand outstretched towards me.

"I thought you would still be asleep," Ivan commented staring at me.

I offered him a smile in response before turning to look at the people who were watching our interaction with looks I couldn't quite decipher. "Well I got curious, I wanted to see what you've been up to these past weeks and this meeting seems to be a little bit intense considering the wards were up!" I said this looking at Madea who offered me a wry smile in response.
