Bab 279: I'm Back

At the training facility, Jasem and Azzam, who had returned to the capital a few days ago, walked through the hallways towards Dadan's office. They were deep in discussion about the pressing matters that had the entire capital on edge.

Carrying their gear over their shoulders and a towel around their necks, they nodded at the guards who saluted them as they passed by. The two continued their way outside, their footsteps echoing through the corridor.

"I heard Lord Dean is returning later today. Is that true?" Azzam asked Jasem, who seemed surprised by the news. Jasem looked at Azzam, his face filled with curiosity, as he responded.

"Really? Where did you hear that from?" Jasem inquired. Azzam was slightly confused by Jasem's reaction, assuming he would have known the news as soon as he woke up.
