Gram's timeline of an hour sounded bombastic and foolhardy to Morne when he had first heard it, but he couldn't deny the results – or the goblin's ruthless efficiency.

In his skepticism, Morne had forgotten the major dividing line between Gram and the run-of-the-mill goblin soldiers warring with the elves: age. Gram was likely just as old, if not older than Grek, who himself was centuries old according to his own words.

Gram had had decades upon decades to perfect his various skills, hundreds of years to become a killing machine the average person wouldn't last even a minute against, and it showed.

Perhaps the most obvious example of Gram's skill was his favored technique of exploding heads, something the goblin soldiers didn't appear to be capable of doing themselves.

He strolled through the enemy's formation like he was taking a walk in the park on a cool summer's day, carving his path through the elves with a twisted smile and a continuous rain of blood.
