The cold winter breeze swept through the city as the countless lights from the Imperial skyscrapers dotted along the skyline brightened up the night, creating a magnificent view. Inside a certain cafe, two beautiful women that shared some features could be seen seated across from each other.

As Cassandra conversed with her sister, she found herself in a dilemma. She was currently in an unconventional relationship with the son of Catherine's ex, and she felt completely conflicted about it.

She knew that as a single and available woman, she had every right to be in a relationship with any man she wanted. But with Julian, it somehow felt wrong on so many levels.

Cassandra couldn't shake off the memories of the pain and sorrow that scum Davien, Catherine's ex, had inflicted on her sister. Even though it was all in the past, the wounds were still fresh in her memory.
