Bab 10: Chapter 10 - Bonding Ties

That's a proverb that might apply to Yeol. She was an open book, even though she never kept secrets from anyone. But I doubt it because of her reclusive qualities. Even if you consider her misanthropic personality, it was owing to a lack of broad subjects or maybe a lack of content to discuss. She never hid anything from her family or friends as proof. Life could never have been simple for her; she had ceased mingling with others a long ago, but now she was experiencing the opposite response. She wished to speak with Anonymous in particular. She was interested in learning more about him. To talk about the side she was concealing in the dark, it was her reluctant side, which was constantly afraid of even the tiniest noise. She never wanted that shady history to accompany her in her new beginning. She continued avoiding it and, I'm sure, obscuring it. Unfortunately, dreary memories never stay away from our lives. They are cautious that our lives are doomed to be full of sorrow, and they will not leave us until they have done so. Do you disagree?
"I need to get a G5 orange three-star set as soon as possible. I must be strong enough to defeat anonymous. I need to demonstrate my worth." While auto-playing boss mobs, Yeol was in her thoughts.
"Hey Yeol, come on, bro. Why are you snatching my boss?" said an unknown message in her VR headset.
She snapped out of her reverie and responded, "I apologize for that. I was not intending; to steal your boss. I got distracted by my thoughts, and my auto mode attacked your boss."
"Don't worry, just be careful next time," Manami said.
"Hey, Manami, who dared to rob your boss, let us know, and we will slaughter that individual," claimed Manami's fan club.
"Guys, you don't have to murder anyone. Yeol was on auto when she accidentally attacked. By the way, Yeol, you've become stronger in a matter of hours," Suddenly, the world chat began to buzz up.
The message about Yeol growing powerful drew attention to her, and several pop-ups emerged on the VR screen. Many gamers were spying on Yeol to learn about her gear level and CP. That was odd for a lady who had always avoided fame and name. It was all new to her. She thanked Manami for the praise and returned to the boss map to look for G5 gears. As Manami's CP declined, she made a friend request to Yeol. She was looking for some assistance because she wanted to be robust.
"Wow! Yeol, you are level 130 with 1.5M CP, which is an extraordinary jump. When he was 130, Anonymous had 2M. Anonymous may have reached level 230, but he has not yet logged in." Rush remarked.
(Rush was ranked fifth on the leaderboard.)
"Anonymous ought to be around 230 level? How? Is he not online? How is he still progressing?" Yeol inquired out of eagerness.
"So, I notice Anonymous is on your friend list... Hmm. The response to your query lies in the practice of offline farming. We have some time to do some remote farming. So even if you're not online, you can still kill mobs and get EXP to level up. You have 20 hours per day to farm offline." Sky explained.
"I see... So. If Anonymous logs in again, he will reclaim the top spot?"
"Indeed," Naru answered.
"Oh, I see. Okay, I'm starting to get the hang of the game."
"You're getting close to Anonymous. You're not Yeol, are you? "Manami inquired.
"I'm not sure...
So, it's getting close to Guild Quiz time. We must prepare." Yeol reminded everyone.
"That's strange because Anonymous promised us he'd be returning for Guild Quiz because it awards a lot of EXP. But he hasn't been on the web yet, "Elegant said.
(After Anonymous, Elegant was the second player on the leaderboard. He was also the Legacy's leader.)
"I need to join a guild!! I had forgotten about it. I need a guild to help me level quicker, "Manami said.
"Sorry, Manami, my guild is full. You can join Lifesaver on an urgent basis." replied the guild leader of The Legacy.
"Sure, you can be a part of LifeSaver, of course. My guild leader is generous. Join in." Said Yeol in excitement.
"Is Yeol in LifeSaver? Isn't that exciting? Didn't I tell you to venture alongside me, Ms. Yeol? You're prone to forgetting stuff." Anonymous wrote out of the blue.
The encounter with Anonymous took Yeol by surprise, even though she had expected him to be online during events. Perhaps she wasn't prepared to face him. Anonymous appeared to be upset. In the world chat, his words were dominating. In his words, Yeol felt a sensation of possession. Enough to make her heart skip a beat.
"Hey, Anonymous, thank God you're here. It would have been awful if you didn't turn up, as that would have meant a second place in Guild Quiz." Elegant had already been anxious.
"How can we be second? I won't let that happen. LifeSaver already stole my girl. I won't let them take away my Guild Quiz ranking too. I am not overly generous." He said while pulling out the sword.
"Your girl!" exclaimed Rush and Naru beside Manami.
"Who?" Elegantly inquired.
"Nevermind. Let's go to the banquet hall now that the quiz is ready to begin. Anonymous wrote.
Everyone was taken aback by Anonymous's comments since they were all looking forward to his in-game companion. Everyone envied him since he was the best player, and most female players were interested in him as a bonding partner. Talk about the guy's popularity. Yeol realized he was referring to her, but she wasn't sure. She decided to send him a Direct Message. But wouldn't that be too forward?
"Miss Elegant, May I know why you stated you'd have to settle for second place." In world chat, Yeol inquired.
"That's because Anonymous is astute and is aware of the quiz questions because he tested the beta version. As a result, he may complete the quiz early, " penned Elegant.
"Why didn't you join me?" questioned Anonymous in WC in an unusual tone.
"That guild was already filled when I tried to apply. It was my misfortune, "Yeol elaborated.
"You should have asked Elegant to save your position, which I already did. I made all of the preparations for you, "Anonymous stated.
The way Anonymous was treating Yeol had everyone confused. They had known Anonymous for over a day, but he had generally maintained his composure. When it came to interacting with her, he was a bit childish. As though he was vying for her attention. Maybe Yeol felt the same way. However, no one noticed because of her concealment skills. She was skilled at masking her sentiments.
"Uh huh, the flowers are blooming. I can see the tones of pink and red everywhere," remarked Jayson.
"We can see too," commented most of the users on the server.
"What flower? Go back to guild quiz, " anonymous shouted.
"Sure, the boss, we are on our way." player in chorus.
