Bab 72: Chapter 70

Stunned all over again, Jayde stared at Huntr with her mouth open. There was no way that she would have guessed that the doctor was even a day over sixty. But the old fart was actually over five hundred years old?

Neither Ryuu or Jayde got a chance to ask or say anything else as Ormr entered the room with a woman by his side. Huntr half-bowed, keeping an eye on Ryuu as he made it to the wall and turned to face his parents.

Jayde’s initial reaction to the woman was thinking she was a famous actress. Then she felt nervous since the last time she had seen Ormr she had been rude and ignored him. Now looking at Ryuu’s mother, Jayde felt small and a little ugly. She was beautiful and had a soft elegant air about her. At least she did until she saw Ryuu.

“My baby!” The blonde-haired beauty picked up the front of her dress so the hem wouldn’t drag as she rushed to Ryuu. She was careful but fierce as she wrapped her son in her arms and pulled him to her.
