Bab 70: Chapter 68

Ryuu woke up slowly, sliding into awareness like molasses slid out of a bottle.

He kept his eyes closed as he took stock of how he was feeling. Surprisingly, it no longer felt like his body was on fire, though he did feel a little achy. The achy he usually felt after a long work out. There was also a tightness around his right thigh and left hand that he figured were bandages that had been used to stop him from bleeding out. The slight weight on the bed that made his leg turn towards it and the warmth wrapped around his wrist had him curious, though.
