Bab 40: Chapter 38

Jayde decided to spend the free time Mr. Crea had given her in the library, looking up more information on shifters and dragons. The books she had found, courtesy of Ms. G, were mostly about shifters and the different kinds there were. She hadn’t found a lot of information on dragons yet, but she wasn’t going to give up.

She did need to pause it, however, to eat lunch and go to her afternoon classes.

Also, to interrogate Ophelia.

Walking across the Great Hall with the other students milling about was quick and easy, but getting to the food was a different feat. Jayde had to maneuver herself through the crowd to get to the lunch line. Some of the groups of people standing were already holding trays of food, but had decided to stand and talk with buddies for ten minutes about morning classes before they finally sat down.
