Skai barely had time to react or run. A second later their lips were intertwined. While she wished to resist, her body responded the only way it knew how — replicating his desires for her. 

His kiss heated, deepening, a desperate exploration fueled by the knowledge of frozen time. 

Damien's grip on her back tightened, pulling her impossibly closer as if afraid she might disappear. 

Skai, initially shocked by the sudden turn of events, found herself melting into his touch and his tongue danced with hers slowly.
