Bab 178: Breakfast

CHAPTER 178

Skai woke up feeling more relaxed and sleepy. She yawned, her eyes widening when she landed on the wall clock in her room. 

"It's freaking 10!"

She scanned the room, searching for any sign of you-know-who but found none, save for his discarded shirt close to her bathroom door on the ground.

Her chest heaved more slowly now. She forgot about work and let her intimacy with Jared fill her mind.

The scent of newly cooked food waffled into the room and her nostrils. Skai momentarily forgot all her thoughts and focused on the main issue — who was cooking?

She got up from bed, rushing over to the kitchen. As she entered the kitchen, the aroma of sizzling food filled her senses and her stomach growled in response. 

Jared stood at the gas, his back to her, his broad shoulders flexing as he expertly flipped a pancake.
