"Another thing you should know" Samson said as soon as she released him. "You remember those liquids you saw in the car?"

Isabella nodded. She had wondered for a while what that was.

"It's a herb" Samson continued. "Although the ones you just saw have been turned into liquid form. I will show you the plant itself when we get home. It's called juniper, and it's very harmful to vampires. Drinking or getting shot with an arrow or bullet that has been dipped in that liquid can cause a lot of pain to a vampire. Also it can have serious effects on your abilities as a vampire. The good thing is that it can't kill you, but it will weaken you long enough to give your enemy enough time to finish you off.
