However, there was nothing he could do now that all he could see was nothing but the darkness. Lucifel tried sitting uprightly but that only exhausted a lot of strength from him.

After watching the back of the horses, he decided to succumb to the drug. He fell to the ground and his eyes slowly narrowed until they were closed.

Some hours later, Lucifel felt a drop of water on him, he sat uprightly from the wet ground which by now was filled with mud. He looked around, his face showing great shock when he recalled every incident that had happened some hours ago.

He was even more shocked when he realised that his clothes were completely drenched. 'How could I have not awoken despite getting beaten by the rain?'

He wondered what kind of drug he had sniffed in to fall into a deep sleep but then he didn't bother himself about it.
