"He is protecting me in some way?" Hazel questioned herself as she laughed at the maid's stupid response to her request.

At this point, she knew that no matter how hard she tried to knock on the door, she would not be able to convince the maid. But then, she didn't think she could convince anymore when she recalled the incident of that maid who was killed by the beta.

If beta Ethan wasn't there, she was sure that she wouldn't have survived the attacks. She couldn't believe how the maid who led her to this room could control herself just like what the Alpha and Beta had done.

Hazel turned around, her back resting on the door as she watched the storage room entirely.
