Bab 509: 226 Mourning for the Children of the Future (first update)

When Gem Atkinson and Forsythia Brown's family of four arrived at Buddha Light Temple, the sun was in full view.

Observing the continuous stretch of snow-covered mountains and hills, Forsythia couldn't help but think of the last time she came here, when Gem forcibly dragged her along. She hadn't had a chance to appreciate the magnificent scenery back then.

Perhaps it was because her mindset was different, so her perspective was different too.

If she found it boring, tedious, and resistible during her previous visit, this time, she felt warmth, peace, and eager anticipation.

Lost in thought, Forsythia sensed Gem quietly approached and stood behind her like a protective mountain.
