Bab 170: 115 Shameless

When Gem Atkinson finished taking a bath, he saw Forsythia Brown sitting on the tatami on the terrace, eating bread.

She was wearing a set of home clothes and sitting cross-legged, continuing to stuff the well-seasoned bread into her mouth, occasionally licking the juice that flowed out from the corners of her lips.

Seeing this scene made Gem's heart soften.

She used to love doing this a long time ago.

One could say that she was very particular about her food, not touching anything she didn't like.

However, one could also say that she wasn't particular at all, choosing her food based on her comfort.

For example, others usually preferred to eat bread with a separate dipping sauce and eat one after the other. But she was different, preferring to mix the bread and sauce together like a jumble, holding a bowl and eating while sitting cross-legged.

Her favorite thing was to eat next to the terrace.
