Bab 55: Vulnerable

Lexie now has lost so much energy, and just lied on the hard cold ground, her outfit can't support the harsh freezing temperature of the room and her skin almost turned purple. Even her tears froze. She just closed her eyes and chant Albert's name repeatedly. Hunger, fatigue, and mental stress mixed, she can't stand it anymore and lost her consciousness.

A loud bang echoed the mansion, Albert had the entrance knocked down.

"Search the whole place and do not come back without her." He shouted to his men, who were transported from River City in less than twenty hours.

No one has noticed the carpeted floor that has a trapdoor in it. Frustrated, Albert clutches his hair. His deadline is almost over.

"Lexie! honey..please make noise wherever you are." He called for her in utmost hopelessness. He was holding the earrings she wore the other day at the mall, his heart almost burst of fear of losing her.
