Elle returned to the Raxed District the next day. There was no point in staying in the Empire for too long. Especially with the distraction from Prince Blaise who openly showed his feelings. 

"Prince Blaise, I have heard unpleasant stories from your court ladies. Is it true?" asked Empress Lica during a visit worried about the news about Prince Blaise falling in love with a former servant who now lives in the Raxed District. 

"Empress Lica has nothing to worry about. It's just a rumor. That woman was a delegate of the Raxed District Autonomous Region, the domain of His Majesty the Emperor. As a result of the nuclear war that killed half the population of Raxed, there was no other way but to send that intelligent woman away than the stodgy elder. At least I got a pretty interesting offer.
