He met each person's eyes. "Claire and I will focus on fishing. We need a steady food supply, and the proximity to water gives us the best chance."

Emily nodded, placing a perfectly roasted fish on a makeshift plate. "Crystal and I will work on setting up a temporary shelter inside the cave if it's safe. We'll make sure it's comfortable and secure against any potential dangers."

Talon added, "Alice, Zhang Mei, you will be tasked with collecting fresh water."

Alice clicked her tongue in irritation. "Talon, did you pair me with her on purpose? Are you sure we'll be okay?"

Zhang Mei shook her head. "I'd rather search for the water source on my own than work with someone who acts like they know everything."
