The sudden lightning wasn't the only problem that Max had to dodge. The static lightning still struck the same place in the interval. He had to dodge them while also moving fast. That was easy; he could see the scorched ground to know where it would strike.

"Lily! To the left!"

Lily followed his instruction without hesitation and turned to the left. As she did that, lightning struck the place where she stood earlier.

"Right!"

This time, Lily was the one who shouted at him. He immediately moved to the right as electric current was created at the ground where he last stepped.

It happened many times. They couldn't really think where to move and look at the ground. They could only move their body, dodge the lightning, and proceed to the center.

In just a few seconds, they managed to clear half of the course.
