Conceicao watched Jason walk away and his earlier words rang again inside his head.

"I don't know why, but it's clear that you and the management side with Mylo, and since there's no way I will be playing with that guy on the field, it would be better for my career to go play football somewhere else that is not here for a while,"

"At least he's not an idiot," he muttered as he lay back into his chair, watching the door close behind Jason.

Despite his words making it seem like he was ignorant of the levity of the matter, he actually wasn't ignorant of the whole fiasco in the slightest, after all he was the one driving matters this way.

After reporting the situation to the management, the management had made a decision to oust Jason from the club and make a considerable profit from it, and he didn't have a choice but to go along if he still cared for his job and the club.
