Bab 118: Kaguya Surpasses Chojusen

Chojusen didn't know how long it would take for the treasure spirits to finish their "meals," so he made his way one the two left over godgems still on the floor. The first godgem belonged to the Emperor Gengxin and had his entire Dao of Formations as well as his other Achron level Daos held within. All Chojusen had to do was swear a lifeoath to never reveal these Daos to others and boom, he now had access to several Achron level Daos; several of which were of use to Chojusen.

This was a huge boon to Chojusen as the Achron level was up there, right above regular Eternal Emperors and just below the Hegemon level. Thus learning anything of those levels above him would be of tremendous use to him now. He immediately started looking through the Dao of Formations this Gengxin left behind.

Chojusen was impressed with the power of Gengxin's Dao, it was way up there as a Supreme Dao, but that was all there was to it; it was not even a Fused Supreme Dao, much less a godly Omega Dao. Gengxin's Dao focused way too much on the trapping aspect of formations, so Chojusen would only get a major amount of insights towards the trapping aspect of formations by studying this Dao; he would get insights of the higher levels of formations with regards to other aspects but, they would pale in comparison to the amount generated by trap formations.

Chojusen spent a couple days immersed in the world produced by Gengxin's godgem, taking in as many insights as he could. When the amount of insights started to lessen, he started to view the other Achron level Daos Gengxin studied.

There were Daos for the seven principle elements, space, time, void, yin, yang, light, darkness, life, death, holy, karma, and demonic energies. 'Wow, this was a big haul' Chojusen couldn't help but think to himself. He could used this Achron level Daos of life, death, karma, demon, and holy energies to propel him to the Omega level much faster than before.

Chojusen immersed himself in a focused study session for over a month before he left the Emperor's godgem with five more Omega Daos in his arsenal. When he left, the first thing his eyes saw was Kaguya seated before him. She saw that he had come back from his meditation, so she inched closer to his face and gave him a kiss. When she separated from his side, she showed him a manifestation of her Dao in the form of flames.

Chojusen looked at these spacetime flames and couldn't quite express his joy correctly. Kaguya had finished her Dao path, and reached the Omega level for Spacetime. Pretty insane for her to reach this level in the time she had been here. It would surely have taken a much longer time if she didn't Chojusen with her, having his Space and Time avatars teach her alongside his Teaching avatar. The items and domain made available to her during this trip to the Emperor's legacy site also helped her immensely. But in the end her talent for Spacetime could not go without saying, as she would never reach the Omega level if she weren't tremendously talented in this field.

Since her Dao path was completed, Chojusen gave Kaguya a couple million cubes of chaos as well as one of the various estate treasures he had picked up from the formations he had breached and told her how to ascend to the world level.

He flew a couple meters away from her and watched as the breakthrough took place. Kaguya's body started to glow with divine light and then suddenly broke apart into countless pieces! From these pieces godgems started to form. Chojusen gave her the chaos cubes, because in this dimension, Kaguya was separated from the outside world and thus could not open a rift in the void to summon the energy needed to form the rest of her godgems.

After the first dozen or so godgems manifested, Kaguya had to use the chaos cubes to make the rest. She used 100 cubes of Chaos for each additional godgem created, so the loss of fortune could be imagined. 100 godgems. 1,000 godgems. 10,000 godgems… The process continued until a total of 36,000 godgems manifested and reformed Kaguya's body.

Damn… 36,000 right off the bat? That was the max! It meant she could break through to the Daolord level right away… It was as expected of an Omega Dao; perfect in every way. In truth, no one was as insane as Chojusen to attempt reaching the Omega level at the Ancestral Immortal Level, as everyone had up to the World God level to pick their Dao. Chojusen's insanity though, was the correct choice as he knew from his talk with the system, that reaching Omega earlier would be most beneficial in the long run; just now it made the process of going from World God to Daolord nonexistent…

After Kaguya reformed her body, Chojusen tossed her another couple million chaos cubes and waited for her to ascend via the Ki Refining path. He couldn't see the process, but he knew what would happen. First Kaguya would detonate the Jindan in her Dantian creating a chaosworld region and a Dao Tree would emerge to support this chaosworld. Naturally, the Dao Tree would grow to the limit of 108,000 meters, as the godgems grew to the limit.

When Kaguya was done, her face turned red and she seemed to want to say something, but she only kept fidgeting around with a bashful look. Chojusen said "You want more chaos cubes to enter the Daolord level right away?"

"Yes..." She didn't like to be so bothersome. Taking and taking, while not offering anything in return…

"Just take as many as you need. The Emperor, who died here left behind a sea of chaos cubes..." Chojusen said, as he summoned a couple dozen million chaos cubes. As one of his precious wives, how could he selfishly keep all these Chaos cubes when she could used to right away! He had "more" than enough and could create more with enough time, should he ever run out in the future.

Kaguya took the cubes and started the Daolord ascension right away. Chojusen would not be able to see the change as it was all internal; she would get more godgems and expand her Dao Tree. Since she had chaos cubes as her source of energy, the breakthrough was quite fast. When she came out she said "I only got 10,000 more godgems and 50,000 meters added to my Dao Tree. It'll take a while to reach the second step."

"Congrats, you are now stronger than me."

"For now… and because you are going for something I no doubt believe will make you invincible after ascending to my level..."

Chojusen didn't deny her; he was pursuing 40 Omega Daos… He asked her "So what do you plan to do while I take a look at the other godgem?"

"I'll go back to the Spacetime Domain and see if I can get anything out of it, now that I became a Daolord. You were the one who said that insights would come flooding after making a breakthrough."

Chojusen nodded and watched her fly away. He then strolled over to that Daolord Eightheart's estate treasure and entered the world within. Inside, amidst the various treasures, there was a single godgem left behind. This was just an unprotected godgem Eighthearts had left behind incase he found someone he liked and made them his disciples, so it had no extra defenses aside from having Chojusen swear a lifeoath to not divulge Eightheart's Dao to others.

Eightheart's might have only reached the Daolord level and failed his Daomerge to become a failed Daolord, but his Illusion Dao was no joke. It was "technically" above Gengxin's level as this was a fused supreme Dao of Illusion; if Eighthearts passed his Daomerge he would have become a Hegemon.

To Chojusen's surprise, aside from the Illusion Dao, there were was also a pretty fleshed out Dao of Alchemy and Artifacting in the godgem as well. Another three week long study session saw the completion of three new Omega Daos as well as the discovery of Heartforce.

Chojusen found this "hearforce" from the techniques leftover from the Daolord's estate treasures. Eighthearts was a prominent Heartforce Cultivator majoring in the Dao of Illusions, thus he had a rather extensive collection of hearforce techniques.

It turns out Chojusen had already reached the fourth level of hearforce just from his torture in cultivating the Daoheart technique. Alas, he needed a heatforce cultivation at the sixth level to make use of any of the techniques left over from Daolord Eighthearts.

These techniques were all quite intriguing to Chojusen. Things like Heartforce annihilation, illusions, and creation, were all very lethal. Chojusen made up his mind to buy the remaining piece of the book of Dao Origin and train in heartforce after leaving this place, while resuming his journey to the Voidstar Gate. But first, he had to leave this treasure room and have another encounter with the group of trapped Daolords and World Gods.
