Bab 1893: Fun

Star River's expression flickered. Her stance couldn't help but soften a bit when she realized that Ryu was truly tired. It was like he had already given everything he had, and he simply had nothing more to give.

It was easy to be infuriated by his arrogance, especially when none of them knew the backstory between Ryu and Ailsa. However, it was hard to be enraged with a person who clearly pushed themselves so hard.

It had been a long while since Ryu was fatigued to the point of needing sleep. Usually, it was just injuries that took him out. But this time, it was pure, unadulterated mental fatigue.

"Alright. I will take him away," Star River said to no one in particular.

Many hesitated to speak, but in the end, Star River was too far beyond them. They didn't have the right to question her decisions just as much as they didn't have the right to question Ailsa.
