Barthogan rode into the City quickly before arriving at the Small Council Chambers. Lord Varys was waiting for him.
''Your Grace, The Queen is being examined by the Grand Maester.'' Says Varys.
''I know, I received word when I entered the Crownlands. Varys, I know about your little plot with your old Pentoshi friend and Myles Toyne, but what if I were to offer you an alternative?'' Barthogan says and Varys for perhaps the first time of his life is left without something to fall back on.
''Go on.'' Says Varys.
''Viserys will die, I won't pretend otherwise, but Queen Rhaelle and her unborn child need not die. If Rhaelle surrenders her titles and the claims of her children, I will allow her to marry Ser Bonnifer Hasty, her unborn child if a girl shall wed my Thirdborn Son, if it's a boy he shall eventually live out his days at the Wall with his ancestor, Maester Aemon. All I ask is that you consider it Lord Varys, even if you don't I'll not kill the only Small Councilor with any benign interests in the Commonfolk. Your too valuable, speaking of which...Kill Petr Baelish. That pest has long since outlived his lifetime.'' Barthogan says departing to check in on Cregan, Steffon, Cassana, and Josephine.

Ros was enjoying the perks of being the Mistress of the King AND the Queen. Barthogan had encountered her during a hunt, and somehow they ended up in a three-way with his wife.
Since then she'd enjoyed his Cock as often as she did The Queen's Cunt. Raised to minor Nobility as Lady Roslyn of House Redgrave, Ros brought a soft hand to her growing Belly. The King had put a Child inside her at his Wife's command. She'd had every one of her love holes filled by him at some point during the day when it happened.
She did however worry that if it was a boy in her belly that the love the King and Queen had for her would diminish as it would mean that the Succession would be threatened by her son.
Still Barthogan had felt so much bigger inside her when he declared himself King. That sense of feeling completed and full and satisfied was a craving she felt almost all the time. But perhaps with her baby she might find an alternative sense of completeness being a mother. She'd seen the joy on Cassandra's face when Cregan, Steffon, Cassana or Josephine came to see her.
Would her children bring her the same affection? Or will they be the death of her? Only the God's could say for certain and time would reveal it to her.

King Barthogan knew, it didn't matter how he knew or even that he knew. What mattered was that not only did he know he seemingly did not care at all.
The King's offer was interesting, he wasn't inclined to mass murder given the fact he wanted and got Elia and Rhaenys alive. He was also kinder than King Jaehaerys had been, offering Queen Rhaelle a chance at happiness, wedding her true love Ser Bonnifer Hasty if Only to spare her additional pain from Viserys death.
Granted Viserys was a wildcard, he showcased a lot of Kibg Aerys before his madness set in. Which considering Rhaegar's own had admittedly given him reason to doubt the viability of Viserys becoming King. And the Treatment of Rhaegar's Widow and Daughter has indicated no red flags as to whether or not he'd break his word on Queen Rhaelle and her unborn child.
But was that enough to fully side with House Blackstark? Varys didn't know for sure, and he hated not knowing things....

His children were excited to see him despite only being a few years old. Looking in the Eyes and Faces, it was Clear Stark and Baratheon were both Dominant Bloodlines; The Girls received Their Mother's skin and eyes, while inheriting His Stark hair.
The Boys however possessed his Stark Grey Eyes and his typical skin color while inheriting their mothers black hair. Something worth noting as official Blackstark Traits. Easily noticed and quickly recorded by the new Grand Maester. Pycelle having been celled until the conclave elected a new one. Hopefully it'd be a quick one.
Barthogan was also quick to notice the new fixtures at court, Cersei Lannister and Ashara Dayne. It wasn't too difficult to determine Cersei's purpose here, but for now Genna was sufficient enough to satisfy his Blonde Cravings. Ashara on the other hand...

Cersei was amusing.
She was so certain of being able to displace the Queen, but the King hadn't even acknowledged her, preferring Genna's Company even when Cersei was right beside her. The most she had gotten from him was a greeting whilst Genna was getting seduced.
She was quite certain the King had been doing it on purpose too. Genna had been instructed by Tywin to help Cersei displace Queen Cassandra. But that would mean having to go back to a small cocked husband who was on his way to taking the Black.
Was her niece worth losing The King?

Barthogan sat in his Chair in the Small Council Chambers, his Small Councilors, Wife, and Lord's Tywin, Redwyne, Arryn, and Tyrell all stood around him.
''It's time to plan the Golden Dusk. The Twilight of The Golden Company and the Reign of the Dragon King's.'' Barthogan said as he took a dagger and stabbed it in the center of the Stepstones area of the map laid out before him.

Theragfromthecrag Well Ros is pregnant, if it's a boy I'll name him Brandon Snow, if a Girl she'll be known as Arianna Snow.
But more to the point only a few more chapters are left before we initiate the phasing out of Barthogan and the introduction of Cregan as the Primary Character.
Gonna call the next Vilume something like say The Blackstark Prince maybe. Next few chapters will wrap up the Twilight Volume so Stay tuned.
