Bab 6: the proposal
Marineford, Fleet Admiral's office.

Sengoku smashed the desk with a fist full of rage when he saw kizaru's situation.
"Damn. What a bad time for a man like that to show up."
For Sengoku, Jason had shown up at the worst possible moment. Just as they were about to fight a war with Whitebeard's pirates, an admiral-level character appeared in the Sabaody archipelago and caused chaos by killing a celestial dragon. As if that wasn't enough, he proves his strength in front of the world with unfamiliar screens by defeating one of the three admirals, the greatest powers in the navy.
"Advanced Weaponry Haki , he probably has advanced observation haki and a conqueror's haki that can subdue a person at the level of a vice admiral... Where has this boy been hiding all this time?"
An elderly voice full of wisdom spoke up as he looked at the huge screen and saw how the man known as Jason was toying with and defeating Kizaru.
"He's having fun with Kizaru's suffering and doesn't want to finish the fight."
That was Tsuru, the Grand Team officer.
Bam~
The door It broke Sengoku's office was opened aggressively and a man entered with imposing steps and a boiling anger.
"Admiral of the Fleet, Sengoku, let me go in there and finish that boy off".
This was Akainu, the mad dog.
The Navy's strongest admiral and the leader of the extreme faction.
"We can't suffer any more casualties, sakazuki! We have a war in a few days against the Whitebeard pirates."
Sengoku spoke calmly without looking at akainu's face.
"So you're going to let Kizaru die?"
Akainu shouted angrily and the temperature in the room began to rise, reflecting the anger he felt. It's not as if he's kizaru's friend, but rather that kizaru is one of the Marina's elite powers and if he dies, the navy will lose a great asset.
"That's not what I want, but I can't afford any more losses at times like this. If you go there, can you guarantee that you'll be able to save Kizaru and not be seriously injured by that man?"
At Sengoku's words, Akainu scoffed in his heart and swore that he would be a better fleet admiral.
Just as akainu was about to say something, Tsuru's voice was heard sadly.
"It's over."
Everyone looked at the screen and saw Kizaru lying unconscious on the floor with several cuts on his body, an arm missing and losing a lot of blood. Standing over him was Jason with his impassive face, not a scratch on it and his multiplying spear stuck in the ground. He looked like an all-powerful warlord.
[First admiral successfully defeated. Will the cowardly sailors send the little red dog this time? Or will they save their strength to fight in the war to come?"]
Tsuru and Sengoku looked at Akainu, who was boiling with rage at the way Jason was mocking him. Turning around, he left the fleet admiral's office and wanted to go somewhere.
"Sakazuki, I am the fleet admiral and I forbid you to go to the Sabaody archipelago."
Sengoku shouted for Akainu to hear.
"You'll regret this, sengoku."
Bam~
The door broke as Akainu closed it.
"Fuuh, I'll call the elders."
Sengoku sat back in his chair and ran his hands through his hair - the war hasn't even started and he's already mentally tired.
"Yes? W-what? But, sir... It's all right! I understand."
Katchan~
Bam~
"Damn it! What do they think they're going to get out of this?"
Sengoku slammed his fist on the table, destroying it.
"What did the goroseis say?"
Tsuru asked with a frown, she seemed to suspect something.
"They want to recruit Jason as a Shichibukai to fight Whitebeard's pirates... He's come out of nowhere, nearly killed an admiral and is going to be rewarded with a pirate title affiliated with the world government."
Sengoku was irritated by what the elders had said. Even though he agreed that Jason's strength would be of great help in dealing with Whitebeard, he didn't like the way everything had been carried out.
And what about Kizaru's arm? He was beaten in the line of duty and the culprit will get away with it?
"Do they think that man will agree?"
Tsuru already knew that this was the way the Goroseis acted and he's sure that they won't let Jason get away with it, not for almost killing a navy admiral, but for daring to kill a celestial dragon and imprison another. He also seems to be privy to secrets that the world government has erased.
"I don't think a Conqueror user like him is going to accept being Shichibukai, but the Goroseis have said they'll get in touch with him."
Sengoku spoke and looked at the screen, where Jason had made kizaru float towards a huge X that appeared out of nowhere and crucified him there.
"..."
Sengoku clenched his fists as he saw how Jason was still mocking kizaru like that.

In the realm of the gods, the 5 goroseis were in a meeting room, where they were deciding what to do with the new criminal who had come out of nowhere and killed a celestial dragon in front of the whole world.
"Are we really going to give him the title of Shichibukai?"
Marcus Mars, the warrior god of the environment, asked.
"Yes, even though he killed a celestial dragon, his strength will be of great help in the war against the Whitebeard pirates. Since he defeated and almost killed an admiral, he can replace Kizaru in this war."
"And from what we've seen of his personality, he won't hesitate to fight Whitebeard, so in the end, we'll kill them both without too much effort."
Saturn spoke indifferently, as if he didn't care about the life and death of one of his most loyal subordinates. If anything, it would be the loss of an akuma no mi as good as the logia of light.

"Who will be the next to come to me?"
As Jason murmured, the denden mushi on kizaru's one arm began to ring again. As he was unconscious, Jason decided to answer it instead and pass the message on to him if it was important.
"Moshi moshi, the owner of this device is unable to receive calls at the moment, but I can take the call if it's important."
Education always comes first. People around the world smiled at Jason's playful manner.
[... The call is for yourself, Jason D. Winchester]
An elderly voice came from the denden mushi, making him assume an elderly face.
"Oh, and who might you be?"
Jason was interested in which gorosei he was talking to.
[I am Jaygarcia Saturn, the warrior god of science and defense.]
When the voice on the other end introduced itself, all the bigwigs in the world took on a serious expression and paid attention to the interactions of these two men.
"I am Jason D. Winchester, supreme god of the nine realms."
Jason also introduced himself with a cool nickname for the people of this world. It was one of the nicknames he had earned while conquering the various realms of his universe.

Saturn frowned at that boy's arrogance in calling himself a god while talking to him. Only they, the Goroseis, and their lord, Imu, can have such a title. But here is an insolent human who calls himself a god. And what are these 9 conquered kingdoms? Is this kid crazy and just chose his title at random?
"What do you want, old man? Are you going to come down and fight me?"
Jason didn't care about the thoughts of an old man like Saturn and told him to spill the beans.
[Saturn was losing patience with this insolent boy. If he didn't know that the whole world was watching his conversation, he'd probably want to teach Jason some basic manners for talking to his elders.
[You like to fight, right?"
"What a stupid question, yes."
Jason rolled his eyes at this old man's question and replied dismissively. Could it be that old age is making this old man demented?
Saturn saw Jason's expression of disdain, which soon changed to one of... Pity and felt his blood pressure rise.
[... I have a proposition for you]
Saturn took a deep breath. He was old enough and experienced enough not to be provoked by someone years younger than him.
"You probably already know that we're going to fight the Whitebeard pirates. What do you think about becoming a Shichibukai and fighting against Whitebeard in the war to come?"
When Saturn's words fell, everyone was shocked and waited anxiously for Jason's answer. Would he join the Navy and fight against Whitebeard or would he refuse and do whatever he wanted?
Whitebeard, who was in his giant ship, looked at Jason's neutral expression and waited for his answer. He realized that Jason hadn't used all his power and had a lot to show for it. Just by defeating a navy admiral without using his full power was proof enough that he was on the level of the yonkous. Of course, his decision wouldn't change yours in the slightest, since he was determined to save his son even if he had to sacrifice his own life to do so.

Marco was nervous about Jason's decision. If anything, it would be better if Jason caused as much confusion for the world government as possible and didn't get in the way of this war, but Marco knows that strong people are unpredictable.
"Pfff-hahahaaha." While the whole world was nervous about Jason's decision, he started laughing like crazy, making people look at him with a strange expression.
Saturn frowned at Jason's outburst
of laughter. Was he laughing in his face?
"Haha, I just remembered a funny joke, do you want to hear it?"
Jason stopped laughing as he wiped away an imaginary tear and began to tell his joke without giving Saturn a chance to deny or accept it.
"There were three clowns in a circus. The first clown was the funniest and the audience liked him best." When Jason started telling his joke, everyone in the world paid attention.
"One day the third clown said to the second: hey, look at him, the three of us are dressing the same, so why is he the most popular? We should get rid of him."
Jason paused briefly and resumed telling his joke.
"After saying that, the third clown gave a gun to the second clown and said: put this in his costume before the show. When he goes on stage, the gun will fall out and he'll immediately be hated by the whole audience and they'll think he's a dangerous clown."

Jason asked, but wasn't expecting an answer from Saturn.
"When the first clown performed, the gun fell and scared the audience. The boss got angry and shot the first clown and fired the second. The third was the one behind it all."

Jason started laughing at his own joke and didn't mind people looking at him and judging him as a madman. Some people even understood his joke and started laughing with him.
"Gurarara. That joke was funny, even though he called me a clown."
Whitebeard let out a loud laugh and laughed nonchalantly.
"Hahaha, at least pops was the most popular clown-yoi"
Marco also laughed with his father and his laughter was followed by everyone in the crew.
On the red force, the ship of the red-haired pirates.
"Hahaha, this guy's jokes are funnier than yours, captain."
Yasopp, the worst father in One Piece, said as he wiped a few tears from the corner of his eye.
"Hahaha, that was an interesting joke, what did you think, Beckman?"
Shanks said with a slight laugh and looked at his first mate.
"... He's a clever character and quite intriguing."
Beckman said after taking a long puff of his cigarette.
"And his joke?"
"He's a bit better than you at telling jokes."
Beckman smiled sideways, already used to the atmosphere on this ship.
