Lia turned her gaze towards him, her eyes filled with sympathy. "Your ancestors, the goblins, were the mediators. They sought peace and balance. But, in the process, they were shunned by both sides, leading to their current state of being marginalized."

Toshi, clapping Ryota's shoulder, grinned, "But that's what makes your journey so special! You, Ryota, carry the legacy of a race that always sought harmony. Your evolution will symbolize the rebirth of that ideal."

Navigating through a particularly dense thicket, they stumbled upon ruins. Crumbled stone structures, overrun by moss and vines, whispered tales of a once-thriving civilization. Ancient symbols, reminiscent of the status screens, were etched on pillars.
