Bab 1: truck-kun strikes again.
A/N i have no clue on how to start stories.
(Narration)
we will be following the story of a guy named shitori. some would say his looks is above average and some would say it's just average but he has 2 key traits that makes him easily recognisable is his silver hair and grey eye's.
shitori is a high school senior in the Computer Science department but he is somehow the popular kid that get's along with mostly everyone, he is what you would call a class clown.
the teachers at his school really despise him (except his teacher for computing science) since he has done some sort of prank to each one of them and he is so crafty that he never get's caught but, they know it was him. they don't have proof but they know.
right now he is exiting a game shop after buying a limited addition version of a game he like's
(shitori's pov)
"ugh, why did it only have physical copies. I'm so tired" i said as exited the store that was for some reason placed in the middle of no where. but thankfully there was a vending machine nearby "hm" i said getting tempted by the thought of a nice cold drink in this summer heat. "fine" i said as i convinced my self to get one.
I place a coin in and grab a coke. I open the tin and take a sip "ahh" i said enjoying the coldness as i walked back to where I lived. I then saw a truck that eerily looks like truck-kun. 'heh' i thought to my self before realising that the truck's wheel some how just rolled off "what the fuck???" i said, but then i saw the truck some how start coming after me.
"oh shit" i said jumping back narrowly dodging the truck as it slams into a tree. "holy fuck, i almost got isekai'ed. . . heh sucks to be you truck-kun. you failed HA haaa." i said going back to walking down the side of the road.
i took another swig of the cola but i couldn't breath, *cough* *COUGH* *cough* *cough* *cough* 'fuck, I'm choking' *cough* *cough* *cough* 'shit my vision' i fell onto my knee's coughing and gagging before finally falling to the ground out of strength *cough* i coughed one final time on the floor, before death took me away 'dam he still got me.'
my vision went black before . . . light filled my eye's once more but this time i was in some sort of dark void, i was sitting in a old looking wooden chair and infront of me was a new and good looking chair. 'damn, i died . . . wait, this seems familiar' i heard foot steps and a familiar female voice speaking to me "shitori Nakamura, welcome to the after life" 'yep, that is aqua. does that mean i am not real. am i just fiction. stop. I'll have an existential crisis later.'
i put on the calmest and most neutral face i could muster. 'i shouldn't let aqua know that i know anything about this. because she most likely just screw me over.' she got closer and spoke again "a few moments ago you passed on" she turned towards me and sat on her thrown like chair, crossing her legs over one another. "your life was quiet short, and now you are quiet dead" 'pfft, don't laugh'
"i am aqua, a goddess that guide's the souls of people from earth who die early on, like you." she stood up and started to walk infront of me 'now she will try to make it so that the Isekai option is appealing.'
"now, you have 2 options that you can choose, The first option would be reincarnating and beginning a new life on earth again. the other option would be ascending to heaven." she then got really close to me "but between you and me, heaven isn't that great like you humans have made it out to be. there are no things there, no tv, no gaming equipment or manga. you don't want to go some where like that, right " she say's it like she was the guy in a cola commercial trying to diss pepsi.
"but here i have a third option, there is a fantasy world like those game's you play and become an adventurer to fight monsters. but in this world there is a dastardly demon king looking to take over the world. people from that world when they die decide not to reincarnate back into the world so that means over time less and less people willing to fight would appear. that is why i have given you the option to be sent to the world to help fight against the demon king and when you beat the demon king you will be given a wish for your reward."
"Sure" i say with out hesitation
"oh, that is to be expected. that is why we will give you an item or skill to help you on your journey, wait you said yes?. ok choose one thing to take to this knew world and i will send you on your way " she now has joy as she sits back on her chair and throws passes me a fuck lot of folders filled with items. 'ugh, this will take a while'
(20 minutes later)
aqua could be seen sitting on her throne munching on some chips. "hurry up" she said impatiently "I don't have all day" 'she does' after sorting through all of them I found the one I would like the most. it was a pill that gave me the ability to steal power from monsters and other living thing's.
"ok, i will choose this one" she shoots out her chair "finally, please stand there and don't move out of the magic circle" she starts to summon the circle and after 5 seconds I was gone in a blue light.
(Axel, the city of beginnings )
i open my eye's, dazed from the teleportation. i look around a see that I'm under a bridge. i check my clothes and it has become more fantasy/medieval like. in the pockets i found a bag of coins and in the other pocket the pill. i looked around before saying "down the hatch" *nom*
the stat stealing system's requirements have been met.
